Born and raised in Innsbruck, he was trained in electrical engineering. His work revolves around light, space, and real-time sensor technology, but also includes the design and construction of furniture and lingerie. Currently, he focuses on “scanning” the real world, processing it digitally, and then bringing it back into the physical world in real time.
For three years, he worked for the international decorative lighting company MK Illumination, where he developed the animated lighting division. Since 2020, he has been self-employed, creating interactive installations, primarily using light. To date, he has contributed conceptually and/or practically to countless projects around the world — including airports, shopping centers, and public spaces in cities like London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Hamburg, Geneva, Zurich, Toronto, Seoul, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.
Since 2021, he has been living in Vienna, where he is gaining his first experiences in the arts and culture sector as chairman of the association for art and balance (“Die Labile Botschaft”). He has been a student since 2023.
