In “Game of Power,” a political simulation game, players take on the role of the leaders of a fictional country called “Politopia.”
Once renowned as a beacon of democracy, the nation has recently plunged into political turmoil. Deep societal divisions have fueled growing polarisation, with political factions becoming increasingly hostile toward one another. In this climate, players take control of the country ’s largest party, which currently leads a minority government. Every law the players seek to pass – to advance their legislative agenda and maintain voter trust – requires negotiation with the other parties in parliament.
Beyond that, they must also manage relationships with influential entities to secure campaign funding, maintain a media presence, and uphold their public trust rating. To survive in this volatile landscape, players must continuously forge and reshape political alliances, navigating a complex web of competing interests to retain their hold on power as leaders of Politopia.
