Unbubble

In a world where disagreements often devolve into “us vs. them” mentalities, Unbubble is a roleplaying communication game designed to unite people with different perspectives through meaningful dialogue. Unbubble fosters empathy and critical thinking by encouraging players to step into the shoes of characters with unique worldviews.

The player characters feature different traits, beliefs, and distinct background stories. Players uncover cards with challenging topics, such as immigration, climate change, or artificial Intelligence. Their task is to discuss these topics while staying in character. Debate cards support players’ arguments, helping them work toward a shared solution—every agreement advancing the group towards the Goal.

This shifts the focus from personal identity to shared problem-solving, creating a safe space for navigating disagreements. Whether as a tool to spark conversation or for a thought-provoking game night, Unbubble aims to get people talking again, beyond echo chambers and across divides.
